Freeze Stubborn Fat & Contour a Lean Body
Fat cells are more susceptible to damage from cold temperatures than most other cells. CoolSculpting Elite treatments take advantage of this fact by lowering fat tissue to a temperature that kills adipose cells without harming surrounding tissues. This process is called cryolipolysis. After the fat cells freeze and die, the body goes to work to remove or metabolize them (turn them into energy).
This isn’t an overnight process, so you won’t see dramatic results right after your treatment. However, steady results will appear in the weeks and months following your treatment. Your body will slowly and naturally slim down as it rids itself of dead and damaged fat cells. After three to four months, you should see the final results of your treatment. What to Expect During Your Treatment
During your CoolSculpting Elite treatment, we will show you up to our CoolSculpting Loft. We’ll detail the procedure so you know what to expect. We’ll also welcome you to ask us any questions you may have. We want you to feel completely comfortable and confident before we proceed.
When you’re ready, we’ll outline the desired treatment area and place a gel pad on your body. The gel pad acts as a buffer between your skin and the CoolSculpting applicator. Next, we’ll apply the CoolSculpting Elite applicator to your skin. To speed up your total treatment time, we can treat up to two areas of the body at the same time.
You’ll feel a gentle suction from the CoolSculpting Elite device when treatment begins. You’ll also experience the sensation of intense coldness in the targeted area. This can be a bit uncomfortable but shouldn’t be painful. After approximately 10 minutes, the treatment site will go numb from the cold and further minimize any discomfort you might feel.
You can watch TV, read a book, or even take a catnap throughout your treatment. When we’re done, we’ll gently massage the area we just treated. This serves to break up the frozen adipose cells so the body can get rid of them more easily.
